The AShadeOfSheen Experience

My name is John Michael, I am from Salford, Manchester with a love for makeup artistry like no other. Makeup began for me as a way to express my self and never imagined a career in the industry was something I could access. 6 years later, i have been able to get my level 3 and continue on to my degree, i have had three years freelancing experience; experience on film sets, costume design sets and theatrical makeup where i have met so many amazing industry professionals. I have had a masterclass by makeup forever in Paris and I came first place in a national student competition in the creative category. This started because I wanted to express myself and this is what has carried me through all of these amazing experiences, my unconditional love for the artistry and the industry that allows me to express myself each and every day.
